I tried to describe to the film crew the strategy of children crossing the gate, with the aid of a Palestinian from Jubarra and maps. The Palestinian explained that each resident of the village has a pass but some villagers are still forbidden from getting to their land which is robbed from them 8.50 Jubara Check point: A kid with a donkey and cart was detained, but after talking to the commander he was allowed to go though without the cart. We did manage to soften the soldiers on a few occasions. There was no heavy traffic and movement was reasonable, while also keeping strictly to the rules. One detainee was standing on the side. 9.30We were informed that the Irtah Checkpoint (700) is closed , and that 30 trucks were waiting for over 3 hours to unload back to back. The reason: the metal detector was broken. We split and maneuvered between the two checkpoints trying to solve the problems arising.At 10.30 we were told that matters are being dealt with and that they should wait. Yudit.
