There is scarcely any vehicle traffic.
No inspection of vehicles going towards Tulkarm.
In the opposite direction the inspections are superficial.
A new addition to the checkpoint: A crash barrier between the two roadways with the words "Home Front Command" on it. Thus we have learned that this checkpoint is deep in the home front.
Nathan, the commander, makes it a point to confront us about the place we park our car and the place we choose to stand. We feel we are not welcome and since the traffic is thin, we take off.

There are 7 cars at the entrance to Tulkarm and 12 at the exit. The reason for the line, according to the commander, is the extra check of taxis, especially their drivers. Other vehicles are not checked.
Suddenly the line at the entrance is congested. It turns out that the soldier has stopped the line because one vehicle stopped beyond the white line. Although it backed up, the front wheels are still a few centimeters beyond the white line. To back up a little more, the whole line has to move. It doesn't seem to bother the soldier. Fortunately, the commander is a nice person and he takes the soldier aside and succeeds in soothing him. The line fades away.
14:30 – Seventeen cars are waiting at the exit from Tulkarm. The delay is due to the thorough inspection of the taxis. Five United Nations vehicles pass the line fast. All of a sudden, all activity stops. The commander's answer to our question is "drill". A few minutes later, the activity resumes.
14:40 – We leave for Beit Iba.
Qalqiliya 17:30
Twenty cars are waiting at the entrance to the city. Only Israeli vehicles are checked for entry permits. The checkpoint is manned by reservists who have replaced the Border Police soldiers.
No delays on the way out of the city.

The checkpoint is located south of the village of 'Anabta, at the intersection of Road 60 (leading to Nablus at the entrance to Area A), with Road (57, 557, 5576) facing west towards the Einav settlement and the checkpoint at the exit from the West Bank - Figs checkpoint. Until 2010 we used to watch the intersection and report the long columns created due to a slow inspection of the vehicles in both directions.

The Jabra checkpoint was on Road 557, south of Tulkarm, on the side of the Figs Pass, which is located within the Palestinian Authority (a few kilometers east of the Green Line), and serves as an entry barrier from the territories to Israel. The checkpoint to the village of Jubara, which until 2013 was in the seam area, blocked and surrounded by a fence, was intended for the passage of the family members of the house next to the checkpoint, and also for the MachsomWatch volunteers (with special permission only), on their way to checkpoint 753. on the other side of the village. The soldiers supervising the "fig crossing" also supervised the crossing at this checkpoint, in our shifts we often waited a long time until the key was found and the gate opened. The checkpoint was abolished and became part of the separation fence that was moved west following the High Court.

Qalqilya is surrounded on all sides by the separation barrier. The only exit from the city is in the east of the city on the road that leaves the city in an easterly direction. This is where the checkpoint was located. When the checkpoint was active until 2009 our shifts watched long queues of cars being inspected at the only exit from the city to the West Bank. The checkpoint was canceled, but there is a military presence at the entrance to the city.
