The “attrition campaign” seemsto work. However, people noted one improvement: if youhave no problem getting a magnetic card, you can getit on the spot, no need to come again. Still, manypeople are turned down without sufficient explanation.We were unable to help. DCO personnel were busy andthe commander could not answer our questions. Thereare obviously more important things than Palestiniansclamoring for magnetic cards and work permits.We left the DCO frustrated, as usual.
