Every time this, this occupation, strikes at me again even though nothing special happened today.

Mekorot places a water pipe only for the settlements and they receive close guard from the army.

The Palestinians have tankers that come to certain points and they distribute water to the water tanks which we can see from afar on the rooftops of Palestinian houses. Pipeline to the house is considered a luxury.

I take care of my tongue and do not call it “Apartheid” water.

In Hebron, in the H1 area, there are mainly groups of Palestinian children and settler children who are separated by the paratroopers.

In the two pictures below: scenes of roadblocks and fences in Hebron.

We met the Sharabati family who said everything was fine.

On Shuhada Street, the shop fronts are delicately repainted.

An external water hose is also being placed.

The army does not allow digging.

Besides, there’s nothing new.

    • According to Wye Plantation Accords (1997), Hebron is divided in two: H1 is under Palestinian Authority control, H2 is under Israeli control. In Hebron there are 170,000 Palestinian citizens, 60,000 of them in H2. Between the two areas are permanent checkpoints, manned at all hours, preventing Palestinian movement between them and controlling passage of permit holders such as teachers and schoolchildren. Some 800 Jews live in Avraham Avinu Quarter and Tel Rumeida, on Givat HaAvot and in the wholesale market.

      Checkpoints observed in H2:
