The passage through the gates was swift and efficient.Some of the Palestinians complained that after the normal security procedure some of them have to go through a special room in which they are checked again and kept for a long time. We went to talk to the Israeli guy who was in charge in that morning. He told us that they pass 700 people per hour but about 70% are sent for another check in a room. He did not tell us what the reason is but implied that the regular checking is not sufficient. In Jubarait was absolutely empty. The soldiers said that there was a warning and the Palestinians refrain from coming. We left at 7.45
