Abu Dis, Wadi Nar 09.09.04 Observers: Gili K, Rahel W (reporting)There was a lot of traffic at the pishpash gate. No border police around. A border police jeep with 3 men drove into the hotel when we were there and said that we had to move our car “because it was in a military access road!” It appears that the part of the wall (enclosing the three houses) has been moved out somewhat. No sign of any dwellers in the Moskovitz house. We drove to Wadi Nar via the Ma’ale Adumim road, but were not allowed in via Al Ezariya and had to travel via the new road toward Kedar. At Wadi Nar, there were three BPs working very efficiently. There were two lanes operating in the direction of Bethlehem and one toward Jerusalem. There was a lot of traffic, but it moved quickly. There was also a steady stream of pedestrians in the Bethlehem direction. During our stay, just one taxi was detained. It took 40 minutes to check their documents and then they went on their way. On our way back, traffic was moving into and from Al Ezariya without impediment. An uneventful shift.
