Suspected of membership and activity in a hostile organization and conspiracy to commit a crime.

He was arrested the previous day. He’s married with kids. The detainee denies any culpability.

The prosecution requests a 15-day remand. This is the detainee’s first remand extension. Most questions posed by the defense receive the same answer: “It’s in the secret file.”

 

Defense summation:

We object to such a long remand extension. There are allegations that the detainee has been subjected to inappropriate pressure in order to extract information.

The secret file contains description of the suspicions, the status of the investigation and all the evidence and the intelligence material.

The judge states that he has read the file.

After deliberation he allows 8 more days for the investigation.
