is generally fast.  From time to time people in cars are asked
the purpose of their trip and where they’ve come from, and then continue
on their way.  Some Israeli cars trying to go through to Nablus
were turned back.  But every time one was stopped, everyone had
to wait until they finished arguing with the soldier about permission
to continue.  The problem is that it happens at the entrance, where
there’s not really any room to pull a car off to the side.
