Deir Sharaf, Mon 11.5.09, Morning

1. The paved road from Shavei Shomron is already open till the Deir Sharaf road – money flows like water.

Passage through the checkpoint is relaxed, without detainees. The soldiers did not want us to come closer and ‘requested’ that we stand behind the concrete blocks. We were there about half an hour in a seemingly pastoral atmosphere.  Only the poor passengers are never sure they will manage to pass through easily.  Today they were in luck.
