Morning

9:10 - 10:20 AM, Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300: two inspection stations are operating, and most of the time there are no queues.  Few people pass through the checkpoint, maybe because of the intense cold. A freezing cold wind bursts into the building. The Palestinians have to take-off their gloves in order to place their hands on the finger-print machine. Some of the people don’t succeed to fold their permit on leaving the inspection station, and the wind sweeps it from their hand, so they run after it laughing loudly.

The inspections in both stations are conducted sensibly and quietly, and no shouts are heard from the Palestinian side of the checkpoint
