07:00 am, Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300: three stations are open. Long lines, about twenty men at each station. According to transients, many people still waiting on the Palestinian side.

07:30 am, Hussan: on the road coming out of Hussan, there is a temporary "rolling" checkpoint. A jeep and three soldiers stopping cars coming out and checking IDs of passengers. After quarter of an hour the jeep moved on.

08:30 am, Beit Ummar: various approaches to us for assistance and clarification of police problems.

09:00 am, Nabi Yunis: the lot of used cars no longer exists. In its place - a young, new plant nursery. Here too various approachesto us - for help.
