Bethlehem, Tue 22.6.10, Morning

6:50 am, Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300: two checking stations are open.  The line never gets longer than three to four people.   At 7:00 am, just about everyone has passed!!  Unbelievable!  The officer in charge of the CP comes over with a big smile to say hello to us.  People say it was the same yesterday.  At 7:05 a group of about 20 girl teen-agers are on their way to Haifa with a couple of adult wormen accompanying them.  The officer quickly rushes over to see that their passage is smooth.  The word is that everyone has passed.
