Morning

In accordance with our goal of visiting Hebron at different times of day, we only set out at 7:15 am.

Sansana-Meitar
Empty

Route 60
Quite lively with traffic, near Dahariyya the man who sells pots seems to have got rid of his stock - hopefully someone bought it...

Dura-Elfawwar
open.

So too, the Kvasim Checkpoint and Bani Naim.

Hebron
Silent, the pharmacy checkpoint was empty. Near Tarpat checkpoint a Givati soldier stopped us and demanded to know from whence we came, but soon released us. At Jewish Tel-Romeida a bored soldier checked the ids of passers by, but seemingly did not find any suspects.
Near the Patriarchs' tombs' Cave all was quiet and so was the Worshippers Alley, blocked for all eternity to its Palestinian neighbours.
An atmosphere of dread and sadness. Something has to give.
