Muhammad and Yehudit left Beersheva at 6:30.

Sansana-Meitar checkpoint was already empty as was Route 60, except for a few school children.

Dura Beit Fuwar was empty - the earth working equipment is still there, lying idle.

Hebron is a ghost town as usual. The checkpoint at the pharmacy is empty. At Gross Square [kikar Gross], a small group of settler children wait for the school bus, a group of some 3-4 soldiers, in  full battle dress and drawn weapons guards them - shocking sight. There are soldiers on guard at the upper entrance to the Worshippers Alley. At the grocery store at Jewish Tel-Rumeida we make copies of Ata Jaber's video and the storekeeper  - we are looking for a modem for Jaber so that he can access the Internet. 

In short, a quiet shift, which in itself is disturbing. Where are all the people??
