Morning

We arrived somewhat late – 7:45. The waiting hall was dark – a burnt-out neon hadn't been replaced since the present-day barrier had been launched.
Three orderly and silent lanes had about 100 persons, passing through speedily and efficiently.
The 'humanitarian' gate was opened intermittently to facilitate passage of school students. There seemed to be no one at the "blue cardholder" barrier though a white van indicated that it was functioning.
Just behind the barrier. on the Jabba route. there was a lively vegetable market. The Jabba barrier was completely empty
This was a typical morning for the few lucky laborers who could still get through into the Jerusalem area.
