Afternoon
Anata - Shu'afat
The place gets filthier by the day, even though it is considered to be within the Jerusalem municipality. Alongside the parking lot near the checkpoint, there is a field which has become a garbage dump which would blend in, quite nicely, in any third world country. As for the checkpoint itself, traffic passed smoothly in both directions.
Al Ezariya
A long line of traffic trying to get out of town. Within Al Ezariya itself, the usual activity.
Wadi Nar
Traffic passed smoothly in both directions. As has been the case over the past months, there were no delays, no obstructions to movement, and no backups of traffic, during the time of our shift. Drivers with whom we spoke expressed similar impressions.
