Morning

06:40 - Sheikh Saed

School children and grown up people go through the checkpoint without problems. The traffic is light, but flowing. When we pulled out our cameras we were forbidden to photograph.

07:25 Pishpash (Abu Dis)
Some people were crossing, in a bigger quantity than usual. There were no problems. Most of the traffric is eastwards, and the two BP men  who were there told the people crossing that they will not be able to return westwards on this way. They did not let us climb towards the monastery courtyard.

07:50 Zeitim passage
The checkpoint is empty. The traffic of people is very thin and flowing. After there was an early talk of Ora A, with Dvir, the commander of the checkpoint a day earlier, we tried to cross the checkpoint there and back, and we did it! On our way westwards the machines were bipping, but we were not stopped for checkup. The Palestinians, in contrast, had to take their belts off.
On the way back towards to exit two civil guards approached us. We asked them about the toilets in the checkpoint and they answered "go to the toilets of the Arabs".
