We were accompanied by a filmaker from the Canadian t.v.at Ar-Ram the passage of both cars and pedestrians was smooth and quick - thanks to A.In Qalandiya, the former concrete lanes that separated men from women were changed to lanes that seperated people acoording to the colours of their i.d. - blue, orange, green and passports. there was no yellow magen-david's lane but the feeling was quite similiar! signs were posted both on the northern and the southern entrance. There were 2 elder soldiers or officers, though the "Humanitarian" came to an end. The female soldier that we've encountered was rude and obnoxious. apparently trying to out rude her fellow male soldiers.A long line of cars was waiting to enter Israel, and even an ambulance was thoroughly checked, as well as trailers carrying coca cola and such.
