Two youngsters who work at the market in Jerusalem also stopped and talked with us, told us that they come to the checkpoint on regular days at about 4 in the morning to be there when the checkpoint opens. When it used to get closed at 6 in the evening they rented an apartment in Jerusalem for 500 dollars.
