The road to Abu Dis was quiet with no border police. Near the wall, three border police soldiers checked ids of the men. Blue ids and Palestinians with permits were let through. Children, women and men jwere jumping over the wall. While N was helping some children, one of the soldier complained that "we are disturbing them from carrying out their duty". The University gate was open. We walked to the building in construction beyond the university. Two border soldiers caught four Palestinians withouth permits who had passed through the fields. They were checking them, and after a while there was no one there. The Office of the area came by. We had a talk with him on the situation who is responsible. He was not willing to give us his phone number, but said that if we have any problem we should look for him, and he will take care of it. (He is often around with the jeep number 22552).
