(reporting) 14:30 – 17:30A quiet shiftAbu Dis – 15:00 – We drove near the pishpash gate; little movement of passersby, taxis were parked undisturbed on the roadside, and there was no Border Police presence.Wadi Nar – The Container – 15:30 – Many soldiers (at least 12) and three jeeps. Traffic towards Bethlehem was sparse. From the other direction there was a constant flow of cars that were randomly checked. The soldiers were relaxed, letting most vehicles through without checks. Little movement of pedestrians and even when it stepped up people passed through quickly. Now and then the soldiers noted their details, and they drove on.
