A jeep came while we were there, but hardly stopped and continued down the hill. Some taxi-drivers told us that there were soldiers at Bet Fadj who were checking papers and turning people back. But when we got there there was no army and no Palestinians.Container - vehicles and pedestrians passed through smoothely. Taxis detained were released after 10- 15 minutes. The same for the one or two detainees.
