Car's checking in most of the CP could easily be speeded up.6:30 Abu Dis -This side of the wall looks like a ghost town. Hardly anybody in the street.No soldiers, either.A few cross through the yards or the monastery.7:00 An army jeep is checking IDs near the pishpash. 3 are detained though having work permit. We called them at 7:30, and they just got their IDs back.9:00 -Several people near the pishpash. No soldiers. We have been told they come and go.7:15 Opposite Az Za'ayyem CPNo traffic on the road that comes from the wall.7:20 on the road from Jerico.18 cars in the queue. Crossing is slow and inefficient.At any given time 2 transits are detained, and have to wait 10-20 minutes.7:45 Al EzariyaFew cars in the queue, 2 cars are detained, 1 an ambulance which have been released 10 minutes later.8:40 -7 cars are waiting, 1 is detained.8:15 Wadi Nar25-30 cars in the northbound queue. Waiting time is 20 minutes. 6 soldiers can be seen in the CP area. Only 2 of them are doing the actual checking. The southbound cars cross with no delay. Those who are detained are released after 10 minutes. A girl-student from Abu Dis, had to wait 10 minutes, after having some kind of dispute with a soldier.8.45 Az Za'ayyem CP2 bored soldiers.
