It seems like vehicles pass by relatively easily. Several Palestinians who tried to walk around were caught and brough to the CP while we were there. The CP commander told us that there are special commands regarding the coming elections, but he refused to tell us what they are.7:20 Al-Hader – No soldiers. We've been told that the soldiers usually arrive after 8 am. It seems like we should delay the shift a little and arrive later. 7:40 Beit-Jala Checkpoint – Quiet. Vehicles that arrive pass by after a quick check.Due to a technical problem with the car we drove back home and didn't visit Ezion DCO.
