Some cabs were waiting. On our way to Wadi Nar we took the road to Kedar. Before the turn-off to the DCO there was another checkpoint. No cars . The barriers of last week were all open. 6:55 Wadi NarBoth directions not too much traffic From the cabs coming from Bethlehem up to 4 cabs at a time got stopped, but only for a few minutes. Very few pedestrians. The turnstiles were not used. No detaineesinfo-icon. One official from DCO was around.Michaela got involved in a longer discussion with the commander about the question where we should be permitted to stand. He wanted to put us before the grocery, which is too far away for our observations. Because today there was not much to observe and we left earlier, the problem remained unsolved.7:45 Al EzariyaAt our arrival 8 cabs and 8 detainees were waiting. The detainees told us first that they were standing there since 5 a.m., than reduced to 6 a.m. 5 minutes after our arrival all of them got released. The cabs could pass, traffic was flowing. One driver had an argument with one borderpolicemen. The reasons remained unclear for us. 8:20 a.m. Abu DisAt the Pishpash no borderpolice. The door to the monastery was open. People could freely pass. Nowhere on the way to the gasolin station was border police. The street to the Hotel was still barred by a bulldozer.
