We were confronted with 3 types of problems:1. Those who come for family reunion, two cases in which the woman is Israeli and thehusband needs a permit to enter Jerusalem. One man had a magnetic card and also a permit from the ministry of the interior but this was not enough. A woman who is Israeli and wants a permit for her husband, was sent by the Ministry of Interior to the D.C.O and then back again from the D.C.O to the Ministry of Interior. We gave them the number of the moked .2. Men are are not given a magnetic card because of "security" reasons withoutany further explanation, we gave them the number of the moked . 3. A woman who works at Saint John's hospital, she needs to present papers form her work in order to get her maganetic card but her permit expires tomorrow and she wanted to get and extension for a couple of days in order to get all the papers from her work. The extension was denied with no further explanation, we tried to intervene without success.8:45 El Khader: crowded, no army9:00: Bethlehem Checkpoint 300 The group of 3 detainees (at the beginning of thecheckpoint) was still there, the Israeli man who drove them, probably their employer was there waiting till they get released.
