Ar-Ram, 06:30 Nothing unusual except
that it seemed that there was more traffic which was
moving

Qalandya: A group of teenage girls on a school trip was getting
through. They had to show birth certificates to prove that they
were under 16. The soldiers were correct but not too friendly.
Their commander, who was polite to the people was businesslike and
correct but was annoyed when we questioned him. He turned back a
young woman who was using somebody else's ID and a Jordanian
citizen without proper papers. Apparently Jordanians need to get a
one day pass in order to pass through to Jordan. Here and there
some people just sneaked through without the soldiers
noticing.
