There was a lot of traffic, and long
queues of people despite the closure in Ramallah. The queues
however moved quickly. Many people were sent back, even though the
closure prevents them from applying for permits from the DCO. There
were 3 volunteers (including a woman) plus several soldiers. A
conversation overheard: One volunteer told a soldier to confiscate
our IDs, and make us come back at 09:00 at night to get them back.
The soldier refused. Cars who jumped the queue were sent back even
if they had all the documents a patient on his way to receive
dialysis.
