No delays on the way to Wadi Nar.  The checkpoint itself is not yet entirely organised.  6 men, some of them military police and some border police.  Sparse traffic.  The road is already fully operative.

The commander comes up to greet us and says that there is much activity here, quite a number of stolen vehicles and merchandise have been caught.  He's already familiar with the taxi drivers and some of the private vehicles.  Checking is rapid.  Workers arrive from the Kader side too in Israeli vehicles.  On the way back we drove through Sheikh Jerrakh.  Just before the entrance to the neightbourhood, next to the homes of the Jewish group, a police car in the empry lot on whose side is a barbed wire fence with the sign "Israeli Territory."

A few person are clustered round the green canvas tent.  We did not see the lady who owns the place.
