Morning
6:40 AM, Bethlehem: there are few people outside, and hardly anyone coming through the four checking stations. We greet the guards who are very friendly and offer that just about everyone has already passed. As we leave, I notice there is plastic roofing for 25 meters before the entrance. We left with a very positive feeling.
7:15 AM, Al Nashshash: no one approaches us for help
7:45 AM, Nabi Yunis: there is a flying Checkpoint present. We are told that every day it is there, but it is the first time in months that we have seen it, perhaps because we are there earlier than usual.
8:15 AM: we meet a man in order to help him transfer money to a lawyer in Jerusalem. The DCL is closed.
