14:25 – Anin Checkpoint
It is very hot today. people start coming and look for shady places to sit and wait for the checkpoint to open.
In the shed in the area of the checkpoint, the soldiers who stationed 24/7 were joined by 2 other soldiers, and on the bench 3 Palestinians sit blindfolded and were being interrogated. It appears that they don’t have permits and were caught trying to cross through a hole in the fence to get out and look for work. The military police with the key to the checkpoint gate arrived at 3:20 P.M. and they all passed.

Barta’a Checkpoint
Despite the latest events it appears that this morning, passage to work was normal.  There were also the usual complaints. Despite that there are four conveyor belts for bag inspection, only two were working.  That causes a big delay and crowding at the crossing. The entrance to the terminal building is controlled by an electrically operated turnstile that closes every few minutes. Those who are crowded at the entrance and passing through, are hit hard. Likewise, they tell us that at times, they lose a day’s work because the contractor doesn’t wait for workers who are delayed.

Tura Checkpoint
On the western side of the checkpoint at the edges of the village, there was a shooting incident and the checkpoint was temporarily closed for crossing.  Everyone who arrived receives the order, “Wind, wind,” and waits on the side.  We didn’t want to remain and left with the hope that the checkpoint would open again to workers around 16:30.  A truck with sheets of cement for building a wall passed through the checkpoint heading south.
