Far'un - in Corona days the checkpoint is open
Phone report in Corona time
I spoke with S. from Far'un. He said they have no Corona victims in his village. There is no traffic among the villages except for those presenting permits from the Palestinian Authority whose vehicles are guarding the entrances and edges of every village. The families are usually remaining indoors. Economically they are getting by, although on the austere side.
Today, Thursday, April 2, 2020, after the agricultural checkpoint was closed to farmers for a whole week, it was opened and they were promised it would remain so during the coming week. I'll follow.
S. is alone now, his wife and daughters are in Qalansawa. He sends his regards to all his MW acquaintances.
