A Palestinian whose wife lives in Jerusalem wants to travel together with her to Egypt. He wants a permit to go through Ben Gurion.  We explained to him that they should maybe travel separately but there seemed to be a problem that even with an interpreter we did not manage to understand. Maybe because she needs to go with a male escort. We gave him various phone numbers but one of the Palestinians who seemed to have had the same experience, said that, in the end, they would have to go separately.

We were kept busy with all the usual problems. At least the radio in the hall is now at an acceptable level.
