Morning
ליד שוויכה - מתנחל מחוות יהודה החליט לזרוק שם פגרי כבשים

We drove to Khursa. The parking lot at the Meitar checkpoint was full. On the way, on Route 60, near Eshtamoa, at the entrance to the dirt road leading to Shweika, a settler from Yehuda Farm had decided to throw sheep carcasses there. The sight and smell are unbearable. It seems to me that this is really an attack on the Palestinians. It can lead to health issues.

Further down the road on Route 60, we picked up two female hitchhikers from Abu-Argin who said that at the entrance to Dahariya the army sets up roadblocks during the evening hours. In front of the spring, in front of the Dura-Al Fawwar intersection, the soldiers' post was not manned, but according to the women, the position often is. Even at the intersection itself, where we dropped off our passengers, there were no soldiers and the intersection was open.

We returned in the direction of Negohot. Muhammad's sharp eye spotted on the road in front of us one vehicle in which two settler women were driving and a second vehicle driven by a settler, accompanied by a military vehicle guarding them.

We arrived in Khursa and chatted with Tawfiq sitting  in front of his shop. According to him, the intersection in Khursa has become very busy and the road must be widened. The diwan hardly works and the army decided that the place was abandoned and surrounded it with concertina wire. To activate the diwan, you have to request permission from the army a few days before to hold an event, even in case of a death.

So now they have a barrier, a pillbox and barbed wire. In another place, at another time, I would say that this is the thesis of a student at Bezalel who imagines what an occupation looks like. On the way back, the entrance to 'Abda was open and the pillbox was deserted.
