South Hebron Hills
We devoted the shift to visiting the family who lived on a slope not far from the Southern Hebron Mountain Regional Council. The place is called Maktal Umm Salam and also the land around them has recently been surveyed and photographed by members of the Civil Administration accompanied by the army. We brought the children lots of toys and clothes. The grandmother arrived and it turned out that she is Abu Safi's cousin. We are unable to go down to where they live and so they came up to us us.
Then we drove to Abu Safi, who lives in Wadi Rathim with his wife and ten daughters and one son. According to him, his life has been quiet lately after months of harassment by the new settler next to him, Yaakov Kaplan, and attempts to take the tractor from him so that he cannot not plow his land. We also brought them a lot of clothes.
