Morning

"What kind of holiday is it when we have to go through all these checkpoints?"

Tura – Shaked Checkpoint 07:20 – 07:40

The checkpoint is open and the few people crossing pass through quickly.  When we asked why so few people were crossing people explained that today was a Saturday between the holiday of Eid Al Fitr and the next weekday.  We also heard the quote that appears above.

The tall tobacco plants are in flower in the surroundings fields.

Reihan – Barta'a Checkpoint, 07:50 – 08:15

Here, too, there are few people crossing.  We saw a person come through the terminal within four minutes.  Only one window is operating but meanwhile it is sufficient.  There is no crowding and no waiting line.
