Everything is very much the same..... the usual requests for help from those prevented by the police or the GSS.

But today was different in that we spoke for a long time to the man renovating the main hall. The reason is unclear as all the chairs are shoved to one side and the hall gives the impression that it should be covered with dust covers. Definitely not inviting. On the other hand we no longer see the long line of those sitting on the chairs and waiting to go into the offices. Everything is as if with everything else in the occupation. One feels it is in keeping with the general contempt with which the Palestinians are treated. The women's toilet is locked and unused for months and there is a water closet which is of course not working. So why pretend?

The worker told us of problems he is having, both with the Palestinian Authorities and also at the DCO. What is strange is that though he has lost his permit to work at the settlements he can still work at the DCO.
