Morning

Our shift was in the midst of Eid al Adha (the holiday of the sacrifice) and the ending of Tisha Be’av fast.

We mainly wanted to see what was happening in the Cave of the Patriarchs in the days considered a Muslim holiday. Apparently, it was only on Sunday, two days before our arrival, that Jews were allowed to reach the third level at the entrance to the cave. (These are the words of the Border Patrol Security Guard there).

So despite the Muslim holiday which was in full swing and all the shops are closed, they only have one such day.

And on the Jewish side there are as always many guests.

And besides that the routine of the occupation.
