Jordan Valley: Between Heaven and Earth

Closure, rain, a rainbow, daily chores, never-ending work, wind blows plastic sheets, uproots metal rods, a new lamb is born, warm flat bread fresh from the outdoor oven, milk, cheese, olives, a birthday cake, inoculation for the lambs, bicycles for the children, smiles, a dance of doves in the air – breathtaking always, perpetual motion.

Fire, wind, sheep take the initiative and return to the pen although grazing is not yet over, gladness, hardship, laughter, a puzzle, gouache paints, a missing plank on a bed that would give one’s back a rest…
