Morning

Our area is bleeding.  Our friends requested that we don’t cross the East Barta’a Checkpoint.

06:45 – Barta’a-Reihan Checkpoint

We go down the sleeveinfo-icon (the enclosed passage to the terminal) opposite the many workers who are coming up from the terminal on their way to work in the Seamline Zone and in Israel. When we return to the car, we linger in the shed, where men and women wait for rides.  The new buffet in the terminal is open.

07:45 – Tura-Shaked Checkpoint

The checkpoint is quiet.  The crossing is proceeding without delays as far as one can be impressed.  People wait to be picked up.

We traveled again past the “single home,” but instead of turning to it, we turned right past the road system and the separation wall.  On the agricultural area, two simple buildings were erected which appeared to us to be abandoned.  We walked a bit along the road system to the foot of the terrorist wall.

08:40 – Anin Checkpoint

The work on the wall here is enormous. They are installing an iron gate at the emergency opening to the left of the giant gate.  The artillery officer says that he is only responsible for the work here and refused to tell us if the large gate for the tractors to pass through already works.
