Morning

06:50 – 07:20, Tura Checkpoint

The checkpoint is still closed, but there are a number of people waiting in both directions.  The soldiers arrive and the gate is opened at about 06:50, but until they get organized, it takes another couple of minutes.  The first people leave at about 07:10.  The passage is in two directions for cars and pedestrians, with no delays.  Until we left, those who were waiting already passed through and there was no line.  Today there are relatively few passing and returning.

07:30 – 08:00, Barta’a Checkpoint

The parking lots are full with vehicles and people.  Many people come up from the terminal, the passage flows, and it looks like there are no delays.  In the terminal itself, four inspection windows are functioning and we did not see a line next to the windows.  We counted about 5-10 minutes for the passage of a few people from the minute they entered until they left, although one man yelled out to us that he waited about an hour.
There is much traffic, especially from the direction of the West Bank to the Seamline Zone.
