Heavy pressure at the Meitar checkpoint with the last labourers crossing after 08.00 a.m.Despite new arrangements for parking and access Sunday is always a hectic morning with many workers returning for the week's work after spending the weekend at home.  Route 60 was quiet to begin with but at the village of Samiya which was closed with a checkpoint, the traffic became heavy and the driving was really crazy and dangerous.  Dahariya had a Border police checkpoint, Abda was open as was Al Fuwwar, but at the entrance to Dura opposite there was an army checkpoint.  Because of the heavy traffic we didn't get far, at the sheep crossing there was an army checkpoint but traffic slowed smoothly. The return journey: nothing new, only hot as hell!
