Morning

6:45 Sheikh Saed

Lively traffic of children.  Random and quick checks.

7:20 Olive Terminal

A large police vehicle, a sort of hybrid command car and jeep, is parked at the entrance to the parking lot.  It was still there when we left -- to increase the sense of threat? Inside, only a few people, no lines.
A small group of children crossed in front of us in corridor 2.  The magnometer beeped when one of the little ones crossed.  The volume of the loudspeaker frightened the child.  He pulled out a few coins from his pocket, but the beeping continued.  He took off his coat, but the beeping still continued and child grew more stressed.  An adult pointed out to the soldier that there was a large metal button on the kid's jeans, and he was allowed to cross.  Will he relax enough to concentrate on his studies after the morning's experience?

Az-Za'ayyem

Routine checks.
