Maqam Sheikh Mohammad
The original structure of this maqam was destroyed by the Itamar settlers who in its stead, about 20 years ago, built a structure they named Judge Gideon’s Tomb. The site is located on Mohammad Mountain, sanctified by Muslims. It is out of bounds for Palestinians because of the settlers of Itamar.
