We leave it to you to guess who the public are.

There were many cars and many people but, as we entered the parking lot, we saw a steady trickle of people coming out with the magnetic cards.  Everyone told us that they had coordinated with “an office” and had paid as much as 300 shekel for the privilege. They would also like to know who else profits from this economic venture.

There were many people inside, including a man waiting to be questioned and a man waiting for the police who were actually there.

The lot where confiscated vehicles were kept is practically empty and one wonders if that is because it is very hard to get out of the villages and so there are less Palestinians on the road.

A man who was caught working illegally in Israel is now prevented for security reasons, and we still do not know what that means. His prevention has been lengthened for three years – not that that makes much difference as most Palestinians have not worked for three years.

One man who had worked as a contractor at Beitar Ilit and, now and again, he finds work in the settlements, all of a sudden no longer a security risk.
