Etzion DCO: Tales of displacement and expulsion
Place:
Etzion DCO
Observers: Shlomit Steinitz and Natanya Ginzburg
For personal reasons it has taken me, Natanya, a long time to write this report short as it is.
At Um Tuba the Palestinians were driven off their lands with their herd by settlers. Near Takoa settlers started a fight with one of the men and, of course, he is now “prevented.”
There were many people there and they entered through the turnstile but while we were there very few came out.
Today I was told by someone that in one the neighborhoods of Jerusalem, a large block of flats was destroyed this week and another two blocks are to be demolished. Leaving 400 families with nowhere to go.
