Accompanying shepherds in the Hamra area: passed quietly

Observers: Ben Zion Eshel, Hagar Gefen (report)

| Morning

7 a.m. – 11 a.m.

We went out with M. to accompany his flock to the grazing ground. Each of us walked on a different side of the flock. We walked along the hills south of the shepherd’s home, and climbed high above the ranch.

After about half an hour the shepherd tried to get his flock into a single grazing area. He was very successful. Sheep and goats wander around in groups looking for some more feed.

It’s a very dry season, feed is rare. And still they find it.

It was a quiet day.

The walk home was decided by the sheep this time. We all followed.
