BP (jeep # 22522) at Ras-el-Amud turnoff. No presence of BP at semi-official ‘hole-in-the-wall’ passageway. Very sparse numbers passing (unimpeded) in either direction. We walked uphill to construction site of hotel. Once again , we were told of rumors (unsubstantiated) of detainees being taken into the ‘hotel’ and beaten. We suggest that all shifts visit the site in an attempt to verify such rumors.On our return to the gas-station, we were thanked by the transport drivers who said that they have experienced no problems rechecking documents of passengers since our intervention two weeks ago.
