Taxis and passengers are checked but all takes only a few minutes. Pedestrians are checked ramdomly, especially young men with bags. Buses loaded with prisoner families from Bethlehem cross the checkpoint with the assistance of the Red Cross representative.8:15 Al Ezariya – A long long queue and soldiers checking all Palestinian vehicles. 8:30 Pishpesh Gate in Abu Dis – The “shame point”. People cross freely. One of the concrete blocks was taken out – as was already reported this week – and the crossing is less dangerous, but still not human and absurd.
