Anabta. 8.10
At the exit from Tulkarm isa lineof 10s of cars and maybe more. One minute after we arrived all cars were let through without being checked and within two minutes the checkpoint was empty of cars. I do not know what is more frustrating….to think that maybe our arrival caused this with the soldiers wanting us to see that all is well or that it is sheer arbitrariness.
On the way back we see Anabta is also almost empty.
A-Ras 9.45 .
The checkpoint is empty except for soldiers and the flag.

The checkpoint is located south of the village of 'Anabta, at the intersection of Road 60 (leading to Nablus at the entrance to Area A), with Road (57, 557, 5576) facing west towards the Einav settlement and the checkpoint at the exit from the West Bank - Figs checkpoint. Until 2010 we used to watch the intersection and report the long columns created due to a slow inspection of the vehicles in both directions.
